Clément is Chief Executive Officer at TestWe. TestWe develops digital exam/assessment solutions in a secure and offline environment.
In a past life, Clement was attorney at law in New-York. Knowing both French and American educational system, he realized that even thought digital is widely used by students in their every day life - and in their futur professional life - digital is still not a standard to take an exam.
At TestWe we strongly believe that digital tools can enhance the learning experience and the testing experience. Indeed, digital allows to create exercices and tests as close to reality as possible by using videos, sounds, and pictures. The only limit is then imagination.
Clement focuses on thinking on what will be the exam of tomorrow and how exams will be taken.

Provocations for Innovation: Are We Ready to Educate Creative Makers and Shapers?
To support strong civil societies and the development of a future-ready, changeable and creative workforce our education systems require an urgent rethink and reimagining. As we move rapidly towards the second half of the 21st Century creative, collaborative and ‘transversal’ themes need to be introduced to our education systems. Innovations in teaching and learning, supporting the development of new thinking - and additions to the current set of higher-order skills will form the new ‘essential skills’. Conservative interest groups in government, administration, trade unions and commercial organisations continue to put up obstacles to change that has been in discussion since the early 1990’s.
Within this setting it is essential and urgent to prepare creative 'makers and shapers' who will thrive in a rapidly changing and highly creative environment. This presentation will bring together a panel of experts to instigate a thought-provoking discussion and drive breakthrough thinking.

MatchED? Discuss Inspirational Solutions with Today’s Learners
High school students are concerned about global economic, political, social and environmental problems. They are taking responsibility for the pressing challenges of today and tomorrow and making their voices heard. In this session, you will hear their ideas and are invited to join an inspiring intergenerational dialogue on “Skills for the New Digital Age” with ambassadors of the YES! - Young Economic Summit. Let’s enter into a conversation with today’s learners, looking at the future of education.
Emma Karstens
Richard-Hallmann-Schule, Germany
The matchED-Team
Sarah Zühlke, Pauline Karstens, Emma Karstens, Chantal Pasternack and Shante Pasternack are students at the Richard-Hallmann-School in Trappenkamp and are visting the socio-scientific and economic profiles in the 12th grade.
Together they decided to join the national school-competition "Young Economic Summit" (shortly YES!). This competition opens doors and sets a stage for new and creative ideas of the next generation. High School students concern themselves with global problems in the realm of economy, policy, society and environment. They aim to find innovative solutions in order to create the world, the youth wants to live in.
In this context the students from the Richard-Hallmann-School dealed with the topic "skills for the new digital age" and developed their idea of a web-based platform under the name "matchED"- Matching Education and Digitalization. MatchED combines a web-based learning module for students with detailed qualification profiles of employers. In that way, the lack of digital competences can be decreased as graduates can gain qualification matching their aspired career.
