The event has a unique, cross-sector focus, fostering exchange between the corporate, education and public service sectors. Now in its 28th year, OEB includes participants from multinational companies to SMEs, from higher education and research instiutions to schools, from ministries to local authorities and from global IGOs to local NGOs.


* Individuals or organisations within EU member countries (except Germany) will not be charged 19% VAT given they can provide a currently valid VAT-ID. The VAT-ID can be submitted on the checkout page during your registration. Participants from non-EU-countries will ONLY be exempt from German VAT if providing us with a certificate of their entrepreneurial status (i.e. scanned registration as company at the respective tax authority).

Did you know that Christmas markets originated in Germany? Visit one of Berlin's most prominent  ones in the company of fellow confeerence participants. See the stalls, sip a Glühwein and sample winter delicacies. We will meet at the Registration and Information desk and walk to the marekt at Breitscheidplatz, located five minutes from the conference venue.

OEB Meet-up for educators, university leadership, policy-makers and EdTechs

Meet with peers for candid conversations on higher ed’s digital transformation - and the role local, regional, national and international initiatives and ecosystems play. Facilitated by (among others) representatives of SURF and Hochschulforum Digitalisierung (HFD). Doors are open on Friday from 08:30 onwards in room Check; step in anytime before the Plenaries start.
