The event has a unique, cross-sector focus, fostering exchange between the corporate, education and public service sectors. Since 1995 OEB includes participants from multinational companies to SMEs, from higher education and research institutions to schools, from ministries to local authorities and from global IGOs to local NGOs.

Terms & Conditions OEB 2024
All applications are considered as binding and the contract becomes effective upon dispatch of our confirmation and invoice. The contract is valid under German law. Venue is Berlin, Germany. Cancellations need to be made in writing and cancellation fees are charged as follows:

For cancellations up to July 31, 2024: 50 EUR administration fee

For cancellations after July 31 and up to Sept 15, 2024: 50% of the participation fee

For cancellations after Sept 15, 2024: 100% of the participation fee

Please note, that there is no refund for non-attendance and that even in such a case the contract is still valid. It is, however, possible to send a replacement without any extra cost. In this case, it is important to write to the organisers to inform them of the replacement; furthermore, the replacement cannot already be registered.

The conference is organised by OEB Learning Technologies Europe GmbH who reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without further explanation, to limit or deny access to any entity or individual to the said conference. When registering for any of OEB Learning Technologies Europe GmbH’s conferences, applicants waive the right to appeal against any decision made by OEB Learning Technologies Europe GmbH to refuse or limit access to the conference.

OEB Learning Technologies Europe GmbH’s receipt of an application and/or payment does not constitute acceptance. Applications and payments that are not accepted will be returned.

We have arranged preferential rates for our participants at the event venue Hotel Intercontinental Berlin. To benefit from these rates please visit the hotel's booking portal.

We have been alerted to the fact that fraudulent hotel and travel agencies may solicit speakers and exhibitors of international conferences and exhibitions to sell non-existing rooms. Any calls or e-mails from companies offering these services are scams - and are in no way associated or endorsed by our organisation and event. We have not provided any contact details of OEB exhibitors, sponsors, speakers or participants to these companies and strongly warn you against booking hotel rooms through any company which claims to be associated with the event.

Transportation to and in Berlin

Berlin has an extensive network of buses, underground lines (U-Bahn), urban railway lines (S-Bahn) and tramways (Tram). Berlin Hauptbahnhof (train station) and Zoologischer Garten (train and metro station) can be reached in about 15 minutes. OEB is about learning new skills, gaining new insights and networking with new people, so that you can share this new knowledge back at the office. But we also want to make it a memorable experience. So we have selected a few things for you to do whilst in Berlin. We hope you will join us.

	Join The Learning Battle, an Open Mic Arena! This plenary is designed to challenge you on multiple levels. Are you ready to speak in front of a group? Will you listen attentively to different arguments? Can you critically analyse learning approaches for their strengths? Of course, you can! 	Yoga for your wellbeing @OEB. Come along and prepare yourself for a day full of events. Try some exercises to relax, strengthen and stretch during our free yoga session, where you will learn about the benefits of yoga in education as well. For beginners and advanced Yogis.
