Panel Discussion Panel
From AI Champions to Organisation-Wide Capability
The real challenge is not just adopting new tools. This panel explores how to move beyond isolated AI champions and scale new ways of working across an entire organisation. Bringing together leaders from some of Sweden's largest companies, we look at learning as a system where strategy, performance, and people connect. While navigating very different industries, these leaders share one core belief: peer learning is the key to scaling capability. The discussion will also reframe so-called soft skills. Empathy, judgment, critical thinking, and collaboration are essential for applying technology effectively. They are no longer side capabilities; they are fundamental drivers of business performance. When organizations scale learning through trust and shared practice, they spread good ideas faster, improve decision-making, and build true resilience.
We’ll discuss how to:
- Support the everyday learning that is already happening naturally on the job, without trying to package it into formal courses
- Tie learning directly to real business challenges, measuring success by actual performance rather than course completions
- Build safe spaces where employees can experiment share openly
- Strengthen cross-functional peer networks and communities of practise The session is designed to be interactive, giving the audience the space to make sense of the topic together and ask questions. The panel is organized by the L&D Leaders Community. A free, global, and curated community for mid-to-senior leaders who want to bridge the gap between L&D and the business.
Katarina Noén
Global Leader Learning & Sales Excellence, Ericsson
Katarina Noén is a bridge builder between business strategy and people development. Drawing from her current sales leadership role and her time as Head of Learning Sweden & Group Functions at Ericsson, she believes that as AI takes on more routine tasks, human traits like curiosity, judgment, and adaptability become a company's most valuable assets. Rather than relying on traditional training courses, Katarina focuses on creating environments where people feel safe to experiment, share expertise, and unlearn outdated habits. By connecting teams, building networks, and making learning a natural part of daily work, she ensures that growing human skills directly drives real business results.
Nour Wålstedt
Head of L&D Strategy & Portfolio, Vattenfall
Nour Wålstedt believes that successfully adopting AI is 20% technology and 80% people. As Head of L&D Strategy & Portfolio at Vattenfall, she helps the entire company move past the hype to actually build practical new skills. With a background as a teacher and a tech executive, Nour understands both how people learn and how businesses run. Rather than just showing teams how to use new tools, she focuses on changing daily work habits. By bringing IT, business, and HR together, she creates environments where people feel safe to experiment, proving that human adaptability is the real key to making AI work.
Anna Ray
Learning & Organisational Development, Skanska
Anna Ray works at the intersection of business transformation, organisational capability, learning and AI. Her work spans large-scale digital learning, leadership and organisational transformation, and she has received multiple Swedish and international awards for learning and transformation. Today, Anna is particularly interested in what happens beyond AI champions and early adopters: how organisations turn experimentation into shared capability, embed new ways of working and connect learning directly to business performance. She believes the future of L&D is not simply about creating better training, but about helping organisations build the capability to learn, adapt and perform at scale.
