Learning does not automatically lead to behaviour change. While AI is increasingly used for content creation, personalised learning and productivity, its potential to support people in developing new habits and applying learning in the flow of work remains largely unexplored - and offers a fresh perspective on the future role of learning professionals.

In this interactive, hands-on workshop, participants will explore how AI can support behaviour change as a coach, feedback partner, reflection facilitator, performance support tool and source of timely nudges. Combining behavioural science with practical AI applications, the workshop will introduce frameworks for understanding behaviour change and explore where AI can complement, rather than replace, human support.

Through a series of hands-on exercises and group activities, participants will analyse workplace challenges, identify opportunities for AI-supported interventions and design a behaviour change intervention tailored to their own context - an approach tailored to their own context. The workshop will also consider where human judgement, trust and social interaction remain essential. Participants will leave with practical ideas and a behaviour change intervention they can adapt to challenges such as leadership, collaboration, knowledge sharing, safety practices or new ways of working.
