I work for the Learning Innovation department at IE Business School. There, I have had the opportunity to use my knowledge, from working as both, an Instructional Designer and a Professor, to guide the institution in implementing and creating innovative technology to drive their educational plan. Currently, I work as Project Manager in the development and improvement of the WowRoom.

I hold BA from the University of Miami, with a Double Major in Criminology and Psychology as well as a Minor in Art. Later, I received my MSc in Clinical and Health Psychology at the University Complutense of Madrid.  During my career in psychology, I have had the opportunity to work in such fields as: adult psychology, child psychology and forensics among others.  My role as a therapist covered everything from psychological assessment to treatment.

Roger Griset is graduate in Library and Information Sciences at the University of Barcelona; in his time in the UOC he has worked as a project manager at the Audiovisual department, the Digital Library, the Learning Resources Technology department and the eLearnCenter in the same university, where he's working now. He's got experience in the design and maintaining of open institutional repositories, design of metadata profiles and digital content management.

With a background in particle physics and computational neurosciences, I work at the University of Geneva’s Rectorate where I am in charge, among others, of strategic planning and foresight. In this position, I developed the university MOOC program in 2013. I authored "Les MOOCs, cours en lignes et transformation des universités" (PUM).

I am currently Senior advisor to the rector, as well as co-founder of the start-up Ayaru.

Olivier Heidmann is lead developer and designer in serious games projects, responsible for designing and creating virtual experiment demonstrators. He has a Master Degree in Parallel Computing from the Louis Pasteur University of Strasbourg, France. He also taught computer science, mathematics and management to students ranging from 14 years old to adults for 7 years. Since 2004, he participated in more than a dozen different EC-funded projects, using ICT and web-based solutions to enhance the teaching and learning methodologies and tools. He has published several papers at international conferences over the past 8 years.

Hariklia Tsalapatas is a software engineer at the University of Thessaly, Greece since 2000. She has a Diploma in Computer Engineering from the University of Patras, Greece (1990), an MSc Degree in Computer Science from Rice University, Houston, TX (1994), and an MBA from London Business School (2005). She has been working on ICT in education since 2000 focusing on combining technology with emerging learning methodologies including active, experiential, explorative, and collaborative learning. Over the past 6 years she has been active on serious games in education, mobile learning, and community-based learning. She has participated in 20 EU funded projects since 2000 several of which she has coordinated. She has published approximately 40 publications in the same timeframe. Earlier engagements inlcude working as a researcher at the Foundation for Research and Technology in Heraklion Crete (1998-2000) and as a network engineer for Oracle corporation, SF, California (1993-1997).

Daniel R. Schneider is currently project leader and lead developer for Safe Exam Browser (SEB) at the Center for Educational Development and Technology at ETH Zurich (Switzerland). In this position, Daniel is coordinating technical aspects, public relations and contacts to other institutions using the open source application SEB. As software developer he is also responsible for design, implementation and further development of SEB. Safe Exam Browser is an open source software application used to secure Windows and Mac OS computers in the context of online examinations. The SEB project raised the awareness that e-assessments and online examinations can be conducted without expensive commercial products; download numbers are constantly growing and SEB is used by numerous universities and other institutions all around the world, including the USA, Australia, India, Israel, UK, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, the Netherlands and various other European countries.

Pratik (1963) is the Founder & CEO of Add Value Technology Ltd, the developer of Justori, a unique free smartphone audio app to tell, archive and listen to stories. Using narrow bandwidth, Justori couples flexible voice recording, exhaustive archiving and instantaneous disseminating of stories with comprehensive social media features. Justori creates novel opportunities around storytelling to harness informal knowledge networks, revive oral traditions, hone literary and voice talent, preserve cultures, learn new languages and skills, record biography etc.       

Pratik holds a MSc. in Operational Research from the London School of Economics. Starting his career in London as an OR Analyst at British Airways and IT Consultant with Financial Systems Software, Pratik had been Adviser at the Ministry of Finance (Mauritius), Partner in-charge of business consulting in Africa for DCDM Consulting and Head of Global Business Banking and member of the management of the Mauritius Commercial Bank.

For over 25 years Martin Riemer has been involved in medical 3D-image processing research. This work resulted in a prototype of the subsequently published VOXEL-MAN 3D-Navigator anatomical interactive medical atlases; which helped to introduce 3D virtual body models, made from tomographic data, to medical teaching. In the development group he was mainly responsible for the prototype, the user interface and the MS-Windows implementation of the 3D-Navigator.
Since 2003 he has concentrated on teaching Medical Computer Science and helped groups setting up eLearning at the University Medical Centre Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) and the Hamburg Open Online University (HOOU).
His special interest is the creation and use of Virtual Patients. He has been awarded the “Hamburger Lehrpreis 2017“ for the Medical Faculty. Being involved in teaching medical students in both real and virtual environments and software engineering he is familiar with pedagogical as well as technical aspects of eLearning.

PhD in Education and Society by the Universitat de Barcelona. Specialist and researcher on digital education at the eLearn Center of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. He has worked as a pedagogical adviser, learning designer and manager of educational innovation in this same university since 1997 and has published several papers and articles related to these areas. He is currently the director of the Outer EDU collection (Editorial UOC) and his interest focus are the phenomenon of learning on the net, the impact of the digital society on education and the emergence of new training modalities.
