Melissa Laufer is passionate about helping universities embrace their own digitalization paths. As head of the research programme “Knowledge & Society” at the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society, Melissa investigates how universities and their staff members experience EdTech and the common challenges they encounter. Through collaboration with practitioners, Melissa and her team have developed research-based recommendations for addressing EdTech implementation challenges. This includes finding out-of-the-box solutions for tackling issues such as resistance to technology, steering and fostering innovation and creating a common vision for digital change. Melissa’s research can be found in international journals and media outlets.
