Dr. Jolly Bhadra is a material scientist. Currently she is Senior Module Development and Publication Specialist in Young Scientist Center, Qatar University. She is also mentoring several STEM workshop for K-12 students. During her research career she had a wide experience in the synthesis of verities of materials, such as polymers, conducting polymers, hydrogels, metal ions and nanoparticles. She also gained expertise in a large number of characterization methods for morphological, electrical, mechanical, thermal and rheological studies. She has also had a hand on experience on the fabrication of electronic devices, including Field Effect Transistor (FET), thermo-electric generator, supercapacitor and chemical gas Sensors. She is the winner of 2021 IPITEX, Bronze Category. During her research career she has published more than 55 journal, conference papers and book chapters that includes both scientific and STEM. She has been the part of 6 UREP, 3 NPRP QNRF funded projects as PI/LPI and hold many in many other research grants funded by Qatar University.
