Ildikó Mázár

Ildiko is currently holding a position as Research and Development Associate at the Knowledge Innovation Centre (KIC) in Malta. As an expert consultant of everis, she is supporting the development of the new Europass, a project led by the European Commission's DG Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion. Her role there is to coordinate the activities of 16 countries that are piloting the European Digital Credentials Infrastructure.
She has been working in the field of open & distance education and e-learning since 1998. For 3 years she served as Deputy Secretary General at the European Distance and E-Learning Network (EDEN). She was a freelance contractor of ICWE in 2017, providing social media and communication services to promote OEB Midsummit, eLearning Africa and OEB17.
Ildiko's current research interests are focusing on the standardisation of digital micro-credentials in higher education, the recognition and portability of open learning experiences and using blockchain technology in education.
