Barbara Kovacs is a learning professional with 18 years of experience in the adult learning space.
She fulfilled varios L&D roles at a multinational energy company from a field trainer through local trainig manager till global learning advisor positions and was responsible for the content development of offline, online and blended learning solutions used in various businesses of the company. She was covering regional and trully global portfolios and worked with various groups of internal stakeholders from all levels of the organisation from management to end users, LMS administrators and subject matter experts but also with external teams of professional instructional designers.
Her gained experience is utilised in CEPOL now, the EU agency for Law Enfrocement training where the team is much smaller and she is much more actively involved into the creation of the desired learning products. This also means deeper involvement into the preparation of the strategic proposals for the decision of the management of the agency and opportunity to cooperate with fellow EU institutions. The agency has come to a milestone where a digitalisation strategy has to be introduced. This also gives opportunity for a re-shaped e-Learning strategy that can move to agency to the next level.
She is passionate about people development and likes to use creative techniques and efficient but entertainig learning solutions. With the contribution of Barbara several learning products were awarded by Brandon Hall award gold and silver medal and she also won internal Executive Vice President award for her work.
