Patricia Scherer Bassani

Patrícia Scherer Bassani (PhD) is professor and researcher at Feevale University (Brazil) where she is part of the faculty of the Post-Graduate Program in Cultural Diversity and Social Inclusion. She obtained her PhD degree in Educational Technology in 2006. Her research interests include digital inclusion, virtual communities, computer mediated interaction, online learning, mobile learning, and teacher formation. She has initiated and has been actively involved in a number of national projects focusing in education and technology both as a project coordinator and a researcher. Patricia has published articles and chapters in Portuguese (mainly) and English in journals such as Computers & Education and Lecture Notes in Computer Science. During 2017 she was a member of the Special Committee in Educational Technology of the Brazilian Society of Computer Science (Sociedade Brasileira de Computação - SBC).
