Having acquired an MDes from OCADU in Strategic Foresight and Innovation, Mary’s work is all about applying her knowledge of performance and learning design and also the application of design innovation methods, systems thinking, and foresight to fuel transformative and sustainable change for people and organizations.
A Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP) steeped in years of experience, Mary has performed a variety of roles, from Consultant to Senior Learning Strategist to Programmer and Instructional Designer to Project Manager.
Much of her work has been strategic in nature and has consisted of developing overall strategies for her clients informed by expertise in customer experience, service design, and instructional design across the Automotive, Tech/Telco, Retail, Financial Services, and Health Sciences industries. Mary has spoken at many industry conferences (ASTD/ATD, OnlineEduca Berlin, CSTD/IPL and eLearning Guild conferences) on the topics of accelerated eLearning development, Social Media & Web 2.0, Mobile Learning, Customer Experience, Driving Engagement & Performance, Leadership, and Applied Foresight Methods.
Mary is currently applying her skills in her work at Kingston General Hospital and is deeply committed to work that makes a positive difference in people’s lives and communities.
