Principal lecturer Lasse Seppänen, Lic. Sc., has a strong background in programming (12 years) and teaching (19 years). He is currently responsible in the degree programme in Business IT of Häme University of Applied Sciences (HAMK), Finland, for curriculum development, thesis management, internationalization, several courses and student projects and he is teaching both daytime classroom and evening online studies. He is developing studies related to Big Data, Business Intelligence and Analytics. He is developing systems that indicate students who are in danger of delaying or interrupting their studies. Mr. Seppänen has developed a thesis management system. His hobbies include music, building and travelling.
