Guadarrama has 18 years’ experience in e-Learning. He completed his MA Educational Technology at Concordia University, Canada. He has collaborated with Mexican and Canadian universities. He specializes in online open education, learning design, evaluation, self-paced learning, curriculum/course mapping, quality assurance and educational development. He has a vast experience in program and course design/review, and the assessment of program-level learning outcomes. His professional experience has taken place in f-t-f, blended and online education in traditional learning objectives and learning-outcomes education. Currently, he is a learning designer at Athabasca University, where he assists professors in designing and evaluating online courses. Research interests involve e-Learning; the use of technology for e-learning; the enrichment of learning scenarios with cooperative learning in online self-paced courses; the integration of critical thinking and information literacy skills into the curriculum; open educational resources; and the development of learning models around learning design.
