For Your Eyes Only: Implementing Google Glass in Legal Education
Gwen Noteborn is a Researcher at Maastricht Univeristy where she serves as the director of the Edl@b: a both physical and virtual ‘Educational Lab’ enabling experiments in higher education; serving as an inspirational environment to experiment with new digital tools and education methods. Combing both functions allows Gwen to put research into practice, but also adds relevance to her research by understanding what practitioners deal with. Her work has been published in several international refereed journals. Gwen has been awarded with the UM education Prize in 2009, for her efforts developing a brand management course in a virtual world. In 2013 Gwen has been awarded with the Wynand Wijnen Education prize for her efforts in developing online video courses, increasing student- passing-rates significantly from both a statistical perspective as well as in size effect. Gwen's research is published in several journals, Teaching and Teacher education and Internet and Higher Education amongst others.

Be the Captain of Your Life: The Impact of Virtual Reality & Augmented Reality Learning and Training
Dana-Maria Faneker is the first coach in the Netherlands who is working with Virtual Reality. She has won the Samsung VR Challange for the best VR idea in the Netherlands. That means that Samsung is going to help her to launch this idea first as a pilot in the Netherlands and then maybe worldwide. The idea is called: ''Fear or Love!'' With her Start-up called ''CaptainVR'' she wants to develop VR applications and train coaches, trainers, therapists and psychologists to work with this technology. So they can help people to get rid of all their fears, so they can realize their goals and dreams. Now she is training coaches from the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Her mission is to help people to become the Captains of their Lifes. Rather than slaves TO their lives, or of their behaviors. With Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality this is now possible in the most powerful way.
