Dr. Donna Carroll is the Senior Coordinator of Professional Development for Teaching & Learning at Maastricht University. She is responsible for overseeing and delivering a full programme of training activities for university teaching staff, ensuring they are equipped to foster an effective learning experience for their students. Her experience as a former Lecturer of Physics and Mathematics in the UK and the Netherlands, as well as her years as a Higher Education Assessment Expert, have also provided her with insights into the practical challenges educators face in creating meaningful assessment and adopting AI tools effectively for teaching and learning.
