LEANDO is an innovative portal created by the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB) to serve training and examination personnel in the German vocational education sector. This platform integrates essential content with digital community building and learning opportunities into a single interface.

LEANDO runs on an open-source backend, based on highly proven and reliable platforms, like Drupal CMS, Ilias LMS, BigBlueButton video conferencing tool and others. This allows BIBB to provide its services to an unlimited user base, supported by a strong community of committed individuals, including developers and instructional designers.
