Co-Founder & CEO, H5P Group AS
Svein-Tore Griff With (aká Falcon) has worked with educational content for 20 years. He has co-founded and led a company focused on instructional design and led three open source authoring tool projects. Two of them with tens of thousands of installations and millions of users.
Currently Falcon is the CEO of H5P Group, the company behind the H5P project. H5P is part of Moodle core and has plugins for several other publishing platforms like WordPress and Drupal. It is used to create interactive content within these platforms and allow easy sharing and collaboration between platforms as well.
The vision of H5P is to empower everyone to create, share and reuse interactive content. With a major global user base, support from a growing number of platforms and lately more and more AI features added to the mix, H5P is getting closer and closer to become the global standard for interactive content.

Using Scientific Research to Improve H5P, Oliver Tacke
In this presentation, Oliver Tacke will highlight the openness of H5P, allowing to fill in gaps that current content types do not cover.
As an example, he will show the content type "Discrete Option Multiple Choice" he created for a university in Germany, and now anyone can use that. The content type is based on research that was done to circumvent a couple of problems that regular multiple-choice questions have.
