At Skillnet Ireland, Mark is leading the skills investment and partner strategy. He is engaged with the european commission, higher education, government departments, business representative groups, enterprise agencies and both international and indigenous companies operating across all major business sectors – all with a focus on supporting the competitiveness of business in Ireland, and readying companies for future world of work.

Besides, he is a subject matter expert in steel sector, working a Global Specialist in the Oil and Gas company, Tenaris. Jorge is known for delivering world-class coaching, training, designing and implementing development programs, as well as introducing innovative tools and solutions to the industry and universities.
Jorge is steeluniversity Director at World Steel Association. Under Jorge's leadership, steeluniversity has grown into a recognized leader in providing high-quality learning solutions and development programs that serve the needs of the steel sector and the value change globally. His commitment to excellence, coupled with his deep understanding of industry requirements, has helped to establish steeluniversity as a key contributor to support growth and development of the steel industry and the value chain.
Jorge passionate about collaborative work and its potential to create deeper changes in the way people relate, learn, and apply knowledge to create a sustainable ecosystem to live. Therefore, Jorge is an active member of European Steel Skills Agenda (ESSA), Skills Alliance for Industrial Symbiosis (SPIRE-SAIS) and Energy Intensive Industries ecosystem in Pact For Skills to identify future skills need, the impact of technology in the workers and develop a collaborative online training ecosystem to upskill workers and students.

Future Skills Journey - The learning and Community Platform for Future Skills, Elena Tibi
This presentation showcases The Future Skills Journey project, a learning and community platform connected to the planned National Education Platform of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
The project is run by the German Stifterverband that curates outstanding, already existing digital educational formats and compiles them into thematically focused learning paths, with the aim of developing a digital learning space and a vital learning ecosystem for future skills.
Elena Tibi willl explain how the Future Skills Journey not only provides digital learning formats that are free of charge and easily accessible, but at the same time establishes a cross-sectional community of representatives of schools, universities and companies that collaborate to design high-quality learning and exchange programmes on future skills.
