Boardroom Dialogue
Teaching and Learning Development with the Card Game Learn'A'Lot
Date Friday, Nov 24 Time –
As a professor in higher education, you are likely responsible for all the planning and teaching on your own, with limited opportunities to engage in discussions or gain inspiration from others. This Boardroom Dialogue offers a peer discussion about teaching and learning with the help of the digital card game "Learn'A'Lot" developed by the Oslo Metropolitan University.
The game aims to foster and encourage discussions, exchange of experiences, and reflection on teaching and learning. Players receive descriptions of various learning activities and are prompted to suggest how these activities can be incorporated into the professor's course, with the use of digital tools. They can seek assistance from fellow participants, promoting the sharing of experiences.
