Boardroom Dialogue
Extended Discussion: Exploring Hybrid Futures and Envisioning Education Beyond the Pandemic
Date Friday, Nov 25 Time – RoomBishop
How can we re-imagine education for a post-pandemic post-digital world? How might notions of ‘hyper-hybridity’, ‘envisioning futures’ and ‘speculative design’ help us move forward? How can it look as pedagogical practice? And how might we design for future education in ways that centers on pedagogical values and visions, opening up education and learning in, with and for the world?
Outcomes
- Knowledge about and insight into the field of hybrid education, envisioning futures and speculative design.
- Inspiration to and resources for how to design for pedagogical values and visions in ways that open up education and invite students to learn in, with and for the world.
- Reflections on post-pandemic and post-digital implications for the future practices of institutions, developers, teachers and learners
