Challenges of Clinical Skills Instruction and Providing Clinical Experiences to Nursing Students During a Global Pandemic, Awais Ali
This presentation will cover the transition of hands-on skills training and instruction in clinical sites to new teaching strategies and new learning modalities for nursing students.
Lessons learnt from our experience can be translated to all education disciplines where hands-on experiential work is required but not possible, for instance due to a global pandemic or to dispersed learners.
You will learn how to:
- Conduct high quality remote assessments
- Teach lab experiences virtually
- Foster student-to-student and student-to-instructor collaboration using asynchronous environments
