Wooclap: Inside Your Students' Brains

Wooclap is an interactive platform used by more than 100,000 teachers to boost classes through the use of smartphones. The platform is built on the latest cognitive science discoveries and studies of different pedagogical practices in order to maximise information retention and enhance the impact of learning in a face-to-face course. Hélène Grossetie-Rückert

Graduated from Grande Ecole Sciences-Po of Aix-en-Provence, Hélène Grossetie holds an MBA from ESSEC Business School, Paris, with a concentration on Social Entrepreneurship and Non-profit Management.
She worked as an environmental performance consultant, before joining the Aina NGO founded by National Geographic photojournalist and Ashoka’s Senior Fellow Reza in Afghanistan to work on the creation of the French office.
For four years, she’s been head of the scaling-up strategy and business development at the Cocagne network founded by Jean-Guy Henckel, and has supported the creation of new Cocagne social enterprises in France and Europe, from inception to conception, and led the creation of the first large-scale organic cut-flower social enterprise in France.
She then moved to San Francisco where she worked at Udemy, the leading online marketplace for teaching and learning as an Instructor Partner Manager and later held the role of Head of the French Market. Back in Europe, she's now the COO of Wooclap,
a Belgian startup driven by the ambition to make teaching and learning exceptional and efficient.
