Miguel Expósito has 24 years of professional experience in the field of international cooperation and development. During this time, Miguel has lived and worked in Argentina, Ecuador, Tunisia, India, Dominican Republic, Germany and Belgium.
His background encompasses extensive expertise in learning, knowledge management and capacity development as well as programme and project management, rural development, natural resources and EU budgetary procedures.
Since 2006 Miguel has worked in the European Commission in the fields of learning design and implementation of learning programs in particular for development practitioners. As Deputy Head of Knowledge, Statistics and Data Hub Unit in the Directorate General for International Cooperation and Development, Miguel was responsible for designing and launching the DEVCO Academy – the European Commission's first learning platform openly accessible for the entire development community.

Shrinking training budgets, time constraints, rapid developments in educational technologies, and new learning generations demanding quick and on-the-go supported learning solutions are just a few trends shaping the modern learning and development industry. I am interested in exploring ways of turning CEF knowledge exchange initiatives into unique, fresh and sharp experiences with direct relevance and immediate practical application for public finance officials in South East Europe.
