Trainer / E-Learning Program Manager, RIPE NCC, The Netherlands
Sandra Brás is E-Learning Program Manager and Trainer at the RIPE NCC.
In this role, Sandra has worked on the improvement and growth of the E-Learning practices at the RIPE NCC. Some of the projects she has implemented are the RIPE NCC Webinars and the RIPE NCC Academy. Sandra also delivers face-to-face training courses on topics such as IPv6 and Routing Registry throughout Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia.
Sandra holds a Master's degree in Training and Technology for Education from the University of Coimbra, Portugal, and a Master’s degree in E-Learning Pedagogy from the Open University, Portugal.
Sandra’s passion lies in Education, Training and specifically E-Learning, and therefore, together with her work at the RIPE NCC, she is currently doing a PhD in Distance Education and E-Learning, and her research focuses on Open Organisational Learning.
Before joining the RIPE NCC Sandra participated in an Internship Programme for Graduates at the European Commission. Between 2004 and 2007, she was employed by the Portuguese Navy Ministry in the Naval Centre for Distance Education where she worked with Distance Education curricula and training. At the same time, Sandra worked with several organisations as a freelance consultant in education and training.

Sue Martin is a trusted advisor to companies and institutions across Europe in the area of workforce credentialing, learning strategies and certification. Her career prior to consulting included a role as Senior Global Certification Director for SAP and several regional and global management roles in the testing industry. She has also held several positions within industry institutions, such as the Chair of the European Association of Test Publishers, and is currently a member of the learning & Development Committee at BCS (British Computer Society).
