Tech Lab VID64
Tech LAB: From Digital Storytelling to Scholarly Storytelling
Date Friday, Dec 8 Time – RoomSchinkel
Discover in this Tech Lab how you can pair training in media production with digital storytelling in courses from composition and journalism to psychology and math.
Alongside strong writing and speaking skills, crafting media messages represents an essential literacy helping students share their stories with a global audience. As media projects continue to increase in a range of academic areas, digital storytelling provides a common set of strategies and skills on which to build. We will focus on models that leverage the visual storytelling potential of video to prototype, imagine, inform, and persuade.
Seats for this session are limited. If you would like to participate, please make sure to sign up for it via MyOEB, the Conference app, after Wednesday, December 6. Please bring your own device to participate in this Tech Lab.
