Boardroom Dialogues
Digital Education Ecosystems, International Collaborative Online Learning
Date Thursday, Dec 2 Time – RoomChess
The digital transformation challenges modern universities to come up with new & sustainable concepts for academic exchange and to prepare students that will need future skills.
Joining forces gives HEIs the chance to build an educational portfolio, which comes along with a special learning experience: interdisciplinary, intercultural and international. Based on the experience of the EuroPIM Master School, funded by a grant of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), we'll discuss the value of online interaction between students from different backgrounds, how to select and incorporate suitable activities into the curriculum, and how to assess outcomes.
Outcomes from attending will include:
- insights into the components of a digital education ecosystem
- Insights into the experience and the benefits for students
- Ideas about individual formats in modules for international student and academic staff collaboration
