Preparing Students for In-Person Project-Based Learning with an Online First Semester
Date Wednesday, Dec 2 Time – Room
How might we craft an online experience for the first semester of university studies to prepare students for face-to-face project-based learning? In other words: how can we adapt the first semester—designed to focus on personal growth, foster community, collaboration, and project-based learning—to work either face-to-face or online, to allow students to start their studies despite the disruptions caused by COVID-19? The session will shed a light on our fall semester 2020 and how CODE tackled the given challenges.
