Using Holograms as an Effective Educational Tool to Deliver Live Seminars

Based on a study on the strengths and potentials of holograms as an effective educational tool in higher education, we hope to stimulate discussion and reflections on their effective use in teaching and learning. We will share lessons learned in terms of good practice and hope to discuss further appropriate pedagogical approaches as well!
Andrew Parry

Andrew Parry is an Online Learning Video Producer at Edtech Lab, Imperial College Business School. His main role involves developing and producing audio-visual content for online and blended learning programmes.
Andrew has over a decade of experience working in professional video production. Before joining Imperial in summer 2018, he was based within the commercial video department at Media Wales (the largest independent news organisation in Wales) producing a range of content for clients from a variety of industries.
Andrew has a BA (Hons) in Documentary Film and Television from the University of South Wales and also carries a PGCE (PCET) qualification from Cardiff University. As well as being a practitioner, he has also partnered with universities, colleges and businesses to deliver training in media production.

Nai Li
Educational Researcher, Edtech Lab, Imperial College Business School, UK
Dr Nai Li is an Educational Researcher at Edtech Lab, Imperial College Business School. She mainly involves in the Research and Evaluation programme that helps with developing, implementing and evaluating innovative educational technologies and pedagogies.
Prior to joining Imperial, she worked in both commercial and higher education sectors. She worked for more than 5 years at the Open University where her research interests focused on learning analytics, online learning and quantitative research methods. She also worked as Research Director at Ipsos-MORI China, Research Fellow/Research Associate at University of Oxford, and Senior Researcher at the National Centre for Social Research (NatCen), London.
She obtained her PhD in Educational Technology from Institute of Educational Technology, the Open University, UK.
