Iikka Meriläinen works as Managing Director at Caleidon Ltd, helping higher education institutions and students achieve more with the Tuudo mobile app.
Over the last 15 years, Iikka has worked with several aspects of IT in education, e.g. at the University of Oulu, as well as other private and public sector organizations. At the University of Oulu Iikka was one of the technical primus motors behind the university’s top notch operational learning analytics solution, in addition to having successfully led software development, amongst other things.
As one of Caleidon’s co-founders, Iikka is running one of the most innovative student mobile app companies in the world. With the Tuudo mobile app, Caleidon brings mobility to institutions that need cost-effective and feature-rich mobile solutions for their students and alumni. Iikka has been working on Tuudo right from the start, and while now running the company, he is making sure that the users of Tuudo are getting the best out of it.

Large Scale National Assessment Using Open Source: a Case Study
Mark Molenaar is currently holding the position of Chief Technology Officer at Open Assessment Technologies (OAT), home of TAO: the Leading Open Source Assessment Platform for Education & Employment.
He is responsible for determining long-term TAO product requirements and strategy by interacting with a broad range of stakeholders, communicating product strategy to both internal and external audiences and leading the company’s marketing efforts and engagement with the broader Open Source community.
Before joining OAT, Mark held the position of Chief Information Officer at Cito. He was responsible for Cito’s Reference Architecture, advising the Board of Directors and leading a dedicated team of enterprise architects. In the past, he has worked as a Systems Designer, Information Analyst and Software Architect at Cito's IT Department. In this role, he has lead the development of Cito's next generation test development and delivery systems.

In 2012 and 2015, he was given the mandate to train the researchers of the Council for Scientific and industrial Research and the tutors of Colleges of Education of Ghana on Learning 6.0
In 2012-2013, he was given the mandate under the auspices of Ghana Education Service to train the secondary and technical schools teachers in Ghana on the use of Learning 6.0
In February 2016, he was given the mandate to train under the auspices of the Ministry of Education the inspectors of education in Mali on the use of Learning 6.0
Recently in September 2016, he was given the mandate to train under the auspices of the Ministry of Education the inspectors of education in Benin on the use of Learning 6.0

A prolific author, producer and publisher of a wide range of multimedia and e-learning products, he has acquired a reputation as a pioneer in the use of new technology in training, collaborating with multiple publishers in Europe and the US. He has authored programs on sales techniques, foreign languages, intercultural skills, team management and sustainable development.
He is the founder and Chief Visionary Officer of SkillScaper, proposing next generation authoring tools, methods and content for learning in a Web 2.0 context.
In 1995 Peter Isackson was a member of the steering committee that founded Online Educa Berlin. He is an expert with the European Commission in the area of TEL (technology enhanced learning).
