Poul Kyvsgaard Hansen is an Associate Professor of Technology Management and Organization at Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at Aalborg University in Denmark. He holds a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and a Ph.D. in Technology Management. His current research focuses on various aspects of communicating complex problems and solutions. This includes both organizational and technical issues within three overall research areas 1) Product modularization – Architectures – Platforms, 2) Innovation Management, and 3) Change Management. He has for the last 15 years continuously been involved in development and application of serious games. Most of his teaching is within Executive MBA programs.

Personal Profile
Manuel Fradinho Oliveira is senior research scientist at Sintef. His research interests include learning, social media, serious games, user engagement, gamification, user behaviour change, virtual environments, and mixed reality. He has more than 100 refereed conference and journal publications to date. He founded HighSkillz in 2012, a start-up specializing in rapid competence development using serious games and gamification. He recently worked on using game based learning to bridge the gap between formal training and on-board training within the maritime sector. He is currently working on the use of serious games, simulation and virtual reality in attracting young talent to manufacturing education.
