Preparing for the Fascinating World of AI - Elevating the AI Readiness of Our Organisations

We will kick-off this Learning Café by sharing insights from a DACH survey on HR’s AI readiness and resulting relevant questions and key levers for elevating an organisation’s AI readiness. Participants can directly use these for strategic discussions within their teams.
The following interactive discussion welcomes all HR practitioners who seek to exchange ideas among peers regarding their AI experience, good practices, strategic approaches, implemented tools, and common challenges. The presenters will facilitate discussions at each table.

Anja Schmitz
Professor HRM, Pforzheim University, Germany
Anja Schmitz is a professor and program director of the master's program in Human Resource Management at Pforzheim University. In her research she investigates how learning in organizations is changing and how learners can best be supported. As a speaker and author she focuses on the topics of new work, new learning and learning ecosystems She is involved as an advisory board member in various organizations, e.g. the Global Advisory Board of Online Educa Berlin (OEB), the Advisory Board and the Think Tank Learning of the Zukunft Personal trade fair. Prior to her appointment, she held various positions in the areas of human resources and organizational development.

My foundation was laid by commercial training in Hamburg and university studies in Augsburg, followed by three large corporate positions: Beiersdorf, PriceWaterhouseCoopers and IBM.
There I worked in many different teams nationally and internationally and was able to gain over 30 years of professional experience in four major areas: IT, marketing, communication and human resources.
