Jasmijn Wijn is manager of the project Digital Learning Environment at SURF. SURF is the National Research and Education Network of the Netherlands. Together with institutions and suppliers she investigates how the digital learning environment needs to develop to be able to respond flexibly to the constantly changing needs of students and teachers. Focus on the user experience is an important part of this.

Before working at SURF Jasmijn worked as a consultant. She advised educational institutions on the changes driven by IT or IT changes as a result of (strategic) choices. This concerned changes that were necessary/desirable to achieve goals of the institutions and to be able to guarantee or improve the quality of education.
