Jeannette Schmid
Head of Division for Information and Infrastructure Management, Goethe-University Frankfurt am Main, Germany, Germany
I was born in 1958 in Karlsruhe, Germany, studied psychology in Gießen and Frankfurt/Main, got my Ph.D. in 1987 and my Habilitation in 1997 (subject: Lying in everyday life). Afterwards I held several substitute professorships in Social Psychology in German universities.
I am a Senior eLearning Administrator in the Computing Center of the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main and Lecturer (blended learning courses on soft skills for law students). For two years I have been delegated to the position of Head of Division for Information and Infrastructure Management in the Executive Office of my University, which gave me the opportunity to understand the inner workings of a university administration and the challenges higher education has to face.
My main areas of interest: communication, conflict, teaching, research and evaluation methods.
