Davide Marocco

Davide Marocco received his PhD in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Calabria, Italy, in 2004. He is currently Associate Professor (Reader) of Cognitive Robotics and Intelligent Systems at Plymouth University, UK, and the coordinator of the local NVIDIA GPU Education Centre, where he teaches and promotes GPU computing within Universities in the UK in partnership with NVIDIA.
Davide's research interests are mainly focused on cognitive system and psychological modelling in mobile and humanoid robots, as well as evolutionary robotics models of behaviour and communication. His interests in AI and psychological modelling is currently focused on the application of such technologies in Education and Training with the coordination of the EU-LLP project "ENACT: Enhancing Negotiation skills through on-line Assessment of Competencies and interactive mobile Training".
