Katja Ninnemann develops, implements and investigates innovative learning and working environments to link the physical and the virtual world while taking into account organizational, social and spatial aspects.

She studied Architecture and Urban Development at Technische Universität Darmstadt and wrote her doctoral thesis at Technische Universität Wien about innovation processes and the potentials of hybrid learning spaces at universities. From 2019 to 2020 she held the visiting professorship Corporate Learning Architecture at Technische Universität Berlin to teach and do research on the topic of spatial design processes and spatial design practices of hybrid environments.

After working several years at SRH (Stiftung Rehabilitation Heidelberg) as well as with her own office 47ig she starts the professorship Digitalization and Workspace Management at HTW Berlin – Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin in October 2020.
