Katharina Hammler

Katharina Hammler is the Director of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) of Fundación Paraguaya. She was born in Austria where she studied Economics, Socioeconomics, and Political Sciences before earning a Ph.D. in Global Development from Tulane University in New Orleans, USA. Her Ph.D. research focused on the evaluation of the Colombian school model Escuela Nueva. Katharina has also done independent M&E consultancy for different USAID-funded education interventions in Northeast Nigeria, and taught seminars on poverty measurement at the University of Vienna. She currently lives in Munich, Germany with her husband and her cat.
