Fredrik Haugdal
Chief Engineer, AV systems at NTNU Multimedia centre, Norway
Fredrik Haugdal is working for the AV/Multimedia centre of NTNU, the largest university in Norway, with approximately 40,000 students in three different cities. Fredrik is part of the AV systems design team that is responsible for AV solutions in approximately 700 educational spaces. He has experience working for several sound system rental companies in Norway, and he used to carry out sound system and AV installations for a number of companies before he joined the AV team at NTNU. Fredrik has also worked with outside broadcast TV production for 15 years as a freelance sound engineer and floor manager. Today, he is part of the team that is responsible for developing new innovative learning spaces at NTNU. He is also project manager in a scheme that is looking into how to do cross campus lectures in real-time.
When he is not working at NTNU or with OB production, Fredrik can be found on his full suspension trail bike in the deep woods of Trondheim or in the skiing resorts in the area where he lives.
