Wim Trooster

Dr. Wim Trooster (1961) is currently working as a Senior Lecturer/Researcher on eLearning at Windesheim University, Zwolle, The Netherlands. He gained experience in research (PhD) at the University of Groningen, and he gained experience in Education as well. After years of teaching and developing curricula in settings like secondary vocational education and university, he was the manager of an Educational Department at the Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen. During this period Wim developed a big interest in the application of IT for Education.
Based on this experience he came to the Windesheim University to combine his knowledge in the fields of IT and Education. He developed university policy and managed projects on IT for Education. For the past 6 years he has been working as a researcher at the Research Group on Educational Innovation & IT at Windesheim University.
Currently Wim is setting up a “Laboratory” on Didactics & IT (LAB21) at Windesheim University.
