The Chickpeace Academy – Foodservice Assistant qualifies women with immigration background to enter the catering and foodservice inustry, combining practical training with empowerment and sustainable integration into the labour market. The project is supported by PONTON 3 e.V. and is part of the IQ-Network.

Anica Emmett manages the Chickpeace Academy as a Project Lead and brings experience from education and project work. At the pre-conference she will be speaking together with Merle Losem, Managing Director of DGBB, about the obstacles and successes of developing digital and practical learning formats for participants with different levels of experience.
