Dr Eva Maria Bäcker is passionate about virtual learning. Her mission is to promote intercultural and sustainable ways of online education. Eva studied Sociology, Psychology and Ethnology in Munich before becoming a certified e-facilitator and intercultural trainer. Her focus lies on qualitative research methods and education management. She worked as scientific employee at the Institute for Educational Science & Media Research (Department Educational Technology) at the FernUniversität Hagen. She was conducting academic research on internationalization of higher education and intercultural competence in Sub-Saharan Africa. Eva often is with projects at digital conferences, e.g. at the “E-Learning Africa Conference” in Uganda and “Digitale Agenda 2030” in Münster.
