Lars Rinsdorf

Dr. Lars Rinsdorf is professor for journalism at HdM Stuttgart Media University. He's founder and head of HdM's Digital Journalism/PR programme. His fields of research are newsroom management, innovation management, editorial strategy development, and news media usage. Rinsdorf is coordinator of the strategic partnership "European Media Cloud Campus" consisting of five partners (HdM, HvA Amsterdam, Istanbul Bilgi University, DMJX Copenhagen, and HIOA Oslo). He's well experienced in university bound journalism education and has published several articles on digital learning environments for journalism education. Before joining HdM in 2008, he used to be head of reserarch and development at a huge German newspaper publisher. Rinsdorf got degrees in journalism and spatial planning at TU Dortmund, Germany. Since 2014 he's vice president of the German communication reserach association (DGPuK).
