Patrik Hambraeus* is a lecturer in communication, storytelling, and professional development and Learning Developer at Berghs School of Communication. With over 15 years of experience teaching storytelling, he has developed innovative frameworks, including the Story Canvas methodology, that transform personal experiences into compelling narratives for learning and professional development. As a learning designer and transformative educationalist, Patrik has created groundbreaking programs, including the Content Engineering program (2024) and the Cannes Lions CMBA online course. His work bridges neuroscience research with practical storytelling applications, demonstrating how narrative activates unique neural pathways that enhance memory, empathy, and human connection. Patrik brings 30 years of television production experience to his educational practice, having produced award-winning documentaries, entertainment shows, and international formats. His recent projects include developing the IDG (Inner Development Goals) Micro Training, which was nominated at the Swedish Learning Awards 2023, and organizing AI-focused unconferences that explore technology's impact on creative industries. He holds an MA in Television Drama from Goldsmiths College, University of London, and has completed advanced certifications in generative coaching and leadership development. Currently, he is researching the cross-disciplinary impact on society and developing AI tools for learning and development professionals.
