Monday, July 16th – Friday, July 20th, 2012

The week began with good news for UK tax payers: Publically-funded scientific research will be put online by 2014, The Guardian reported http://bit.ly/NtcaNz.  The very next day, we retweeted @neeliekroes on how EU-funded publications will likewise be available for the paying public to see http://bit.ly/O6Sr2T.  We also alerted our followers to the iPadagogy Youtube channel which bills itself as “a channel dedicated to instruction videos of useful apps for education” http://bit.ly/zgs70R. On Wednesday, we found more advice on using videos to teach on this website http://bit.ly/GHq05J.   And whoever would have thought there are at least 28 ways to teach with Twitter? We found this bit.ly/NHOeWQ article an interesting read for a Thursday evening.  Finally, what is the role of the museum at a time when so much data is placed online?  This ForaTV film on Museum Education & Progressive Values in the Digital Age was certainly something to tweet about http://bit.ly/IZ5eWn!
