Professor Tilo Wendler studied mathematics and physics. He also completed an additional study in computer science. Since 1997 he has been working in the financial services sector as a product and project manager. His interest in solving practical problems with mathematical-statistical methods in combination with IT led him to do a doctorate in the field of Multivariate Statistics.
For many years, he worked as a department director in the general management of a banking association, where he was responsible for rating and research. Here he worked on projects with major banks and international rating agencies. Meanwhile he can refer to numerous publications in the field of business mathematics and Data Science.
Since 2010 Tilo Wendler is Professor for Quantitative Methods. His research areas are the application of statistical multivariate methods as well as LISREL models and data mining.
