\"Jef-Staes-3\"<\/a>Two years ago, Jef Staes<\/a> spearheaded the ONLINE EDUCA BERLIN Debate<\/a> on the relevance of diplomas; successfully defending the motion that diplomas kill passion and talent.<\/p>\n

Staes will be returning to OEB this year, bringing with him his educational alternative \u2018The Competence Playlist\u2019.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In his pre-conference workshop<\/a> and a conference session<\/a>, Staes will address the questions: How can we keep up-to-date with information and innovation? Passions of people change, but diplomas are forever, how do we solve this mismatch? How can we create an educational system that offers a more personal learning experience?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

By introducing a new way of validating competences, Staes offers a solution to several of these crucial dilemmas that educational institutions and organisations are faced with.<\/p>\n
