Who, or what, was your most important teacher?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

My most important teacher has been real-world experience\u2014engaging directly with leaders, educators, and students facing challenges in an evolving landscape. Each encounter has been a lesson in resilience, adaptability, and the pursuit of meaningful impact.

What was your most important lesson?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The power of an adaptive mindset. Through my work, I\u2019ve seen how resilience and openness to change are critical, especially in turbulent times. Adaptability allows individuals and organisations to navigate uncertainties while staying aligned with their core values and mission.

What current learning trend do you think will have a lasting impact?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Micro-credentials and skills-based learning. As employers increasingly prioritise skills, alternative credentials allow lifelong learners to stay relevant. This trend redefines education, making it more accessible and aligned with evolving workforce needs.

Which technology, in your view, had the biggest influence on the way we learn now?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The rise of learning management systems (LMS). Platforms like Canvas and others have transformed how educators deliver and assess learning, breaking down geographical barriers and creating adaptive, student-centred experiences.


<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is the coolest gadget\/ technology\/tool you have seen lately?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Generative AI. It\u2019s reshaping everything from research and content creation to personalised learning pathways. AI’s potential to augment both teaching and administrative tasks is impressive, and I see it as a game-changer in education.

What would be the title of your autobiography?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

“Navigating Turbulence: Lessons in Leadership, Learning, and Life.” My journey has been a blend of steady growth and constant change, both personally and professionally. This title reflects the themes of resilience and adaptation that have defined my work and philosophy.

What was your first thought about our overall theme, \u2018Brace for Transformation: The Courage to Redefine Learning\u2019?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I felt it resonated strongly with our times. Today\u2019s rapid advancements in technology, societal expectations, and environmental challenges mean that traditional models of learning are no longer sufficient. It\u2019s a courageous call to educators to embrace change boldly and redefine learning with integrity and vision.

Do you have a final message for the OEB community?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Embrace change with curiosity and compassion. As we redefine learning, let\u2019s not lose sight of its purpose: to empower individuals to make a positive impact for themselves and their communities. Technology can be a tool, but it\u2019s the human-centered approach that will ensure education remains a force for good.
