Jane Bozarth, author and Director of research for The Learning Guild, is a veteran classroom trainer who transitioned to eLearning in the late 1990s and has never looked back. In her previous job as leader of the State of North Carolina\u2019s award-winning eLearning program, Jane specialised in finding low-cost ways of providing online training solutions. After learning more about her, we are looking forward even more to hearing from her at the annual Debate!

Who, or what, was your most important teacher?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A history professor my junior year of college who demanded that I learn to write elegant, logically sound arguments. She challenged my ideas and conclusions and didn\u2019t let me off the hook, and took me by surprise as teachers had always praised my writing. This was different than years of being taught how to write \u201cwell\u201d\/correctly. It served me well across my entire career and through graduate school.

What was your most important lesson?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

That opportunity is not a lengthy visitor: If you turn down the offer to do a presentation, write a book, etc. the book and event will still happen– they will just find someone else.

If you could try out any job for a day, what would you like to try?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
