Dr. Zubair Ahmad has been continuously working with High school Research Experience Programs (HSREP) and Undergraduate Research Experience Programs (UREP) since 2016. Currently, he is executing two NPRP projects, 3 UREP projects, and a QU collaborative project and completed many other projects funded by QNRF (~$2.5M). He has also played a leading role in two other completed international research projects funded by the Japanese Society for Physical Sciences (JSPS) and the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) Malaysia. He has supervised five postdoctoral fellows and over 5 Ph.D. students to completion, while he currently supervises 2 Ph.D. students. He published more than 185 research articles in the well-reputed international journals besides the 3 international patents (filled) and two book chapters (see cv). Additionally, Dr. Zubair has an extensive collaboration network worldwide. He has a robust research alliance with Stanford University, Georgia Southern University USA in STEM education.

Atish Gonsalves is a social technologist, entrepreneur and the Founder of Gamoteca, a collaborative platform for trainers to easily create and publish micro-learning experiences that use human interaction, mixed reality and game-based activities. Atish also leads research & innovation in education at the International Rescue Committee (IRC).

Tom Wambeke, Belgium, is graduated in Educational Sciences, holds a Master in Cultural Management and an Executive Business LEAD degree in Innovation at Stanford University.Before joining the International Training Centre of the ILO he was assistant Professor at the University of Leuven and innovation coach at Open Higher Education. He is currently Chief of Learning Innovation which specializes in providing sustainable learning solutions with the objective to generate impact and organizational change. Alessia Messuti, is Learning Innovation Programme Officer at ITCILO where she is responsible of the thematic cluster on Learning Technologies by ensuring the Centre’s in-house capacity to use and mainstream learning technologies in capacity development projects. Matt Baker is one of the world's leaders in the educational technology sector. Matt started his career at Blackboard in 2000. For 13 years during his tenure at Blackboard he oversaw growth in the international markets along with heading up the acquisition of Moodlerooms, now OpenLMS. He served as a member of the Lancashire Education Authority (the Education Committee of Lancashire County Council) before being elected to Parliament where he represented the interests of schools and colleges in his constituency in discussions with Ministers and on the floor of the House of Commons. He is a Fellow of the Armed Forces Parliamentary Scheme and of the Industry and Parliament Trust.

As a communications and public affairs specialist, he has advised many leading companies on aspects of their business in challenging markets, including BP in Azerbaijan and Alstom in Siberia. He has written widely on political and historical subjects and his first book, The General Against the Kremlin, that was published by Little Brown. His journalism has been published in a variety of newspapers and magazines. Dr Elletson holds a PhD in Social Sciences from the University of Bradford.

I have worked for the European Commission in Brussels for 23 years, and have held various positions of responsibility in European scientific research, including supervision of more than 100 international research projects involving multidisciplinary teams of natural and social scientists, engineers, philosophers and artists, including quite a few Nobel Prize winners.

These days I work mainly on special projects of my own creation. I co-founded three internal start-up projects - a silo-busting collaboration platform used by 15,000 internal staff, a bridging project between art and science that has generated a number of high profile art and citizen engagement shows, and an online learning platform with a global reach and an expectation of 2 million users over 2 years.

Rolf Reinhardt works for LinkedIn at the intersection of government, education and organizational learning. He is also an active member of the International Council on Badges and Credentials [ICoBC] to ensure a systemic view of badges and credentials for individuals, organizations and societies. He has chaired the Learning Technologies Conference in London since 2000 and writes and speaks world-wide. His annual L&D Global Sentiment Survey, started in 2014, provides a unique perspective on L&D trends from over 100 countries. From 2010 to 2021, he chaired the Learning and Performance Institute.

He chairs the Workforce Development board for VC firm Emerge Education, and advises several EdTech start-ups.
